CARGURUS AND LISTERS SIGN UP TO MAJOR NEW RELATIONSHIP

CarGurus (cargurus.co.uk), a leading online automotive marketplace, and Listers Group, one of the largest privately-owned motor groups in the United Kingdom, today announced a relationship in which Listers Audi Group will now list its inventory on the CarGurus platform through the company's paid listings programme.

This includes available vehicles from Audi centres across Birmingham, Coventry, Stratford and Worcester as well as the Audi Authorised Repair Centre in Birmingham, which has represented Audi in the UK for the past 35 years and sells used cars under the 'Listers Approved' brand.

CarGurus, the most visited online automotive marketplace in the United States (comScore Media Metrix), launched its platform in the UK in 2015. The company uses technology and data analytics to bring greater transparency to the car shopping process and help UK shoppers easily find great deals and connect with top-rated dealers. CarGurus partners with dealerships across the UK to market their inventory and drive interactions with CarGurus' audience of ready-to-buy shoppers.

Digital marketing has become critical for automotive dealerships in the UK, as consumers increasingly rely on online and mobile resources to research their car purchases and dealerships. Recent consumer research from CarGurus found that in eight out of ten cases, automotive shoppers began their car search online. Further CarGurus research revealed that 50% of UK shoppers say they read online reviews about dealerships before deciding to contact them. CarGurus incorporates both market value price analysis and dealer reviews when determining the rank and deal rating for available car listings.

The agreement between CarGurus and Listers Audi was signed this week and the additional inventory is now live on CarGurus.
