Car was fine. My previous car was Seat Ibiza so I know the car very well. Just one problem there was no service stamps on the service book?

Nice super mini SUV ,It is a seat ibiza raised up to look like a SUV, interior is a little more spacious than you think, unfortunately i am 6 feet tall and well rounded so when drivers seat back enough for me to be comfortable there will be no room in the rear seat for a passenger. Limited engine options . great for around town but a little under powered if using motorways . Having said this if i was 5ft 8 inches and slim then i would recommend this car without any hesitation.

Seat Arona (2017-present) Pros and Cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Light controls make it easy to drive in town | Diesel engines discontinued from mid-2021 |
| Spacious boot by class standards | No hybrid option |
| Composed and comfortable ride | Some owners complain of squeaks and rattles |
Quick Summary
The Seat Arona (2017-present) is a stylish and practical small SUV that combines attractive design with genuine usability for families. Built on the Ibiza platform with added ground clearance and a taller body, it offers surprising interior space with a 400-litre boot—more than a Volkswagen Golf. The cabin features quality materials, an intuitive infotainment system, and personalisation options including nine body colours and three contrasting roof choices. It feels well-balanced to drive, with light steering and composed handling that avoids excessive body roll.
Engine options include turbocharged petrol units (1.0-litre TSI with 95bhp or 110bhp) and earlier diesel variants (1.6 TDI), all achieving over 50mpg officially. The 1.0 TSI is the most popular choice, offering modest performance suitable for urban family drivers. All versions produce CO2 emissions below 120g/km, contributing to reasonable running costs. With strong resale values retaining 42-48% of original value after three years, the Arona represents excellent value in a crowded small SUV segment.
Best for: Younger buyers with or without families, those seeking stylish design with practicality, and drivers prioritising easy town driving and personalisation options.
Not ideal for: Buyers requiring diesel engines (post-2021 models), those wanting hybrid technology, or drivers sensitive to interior build quality issues.

The Verdict
You should buy the Arona if: You're seeking stylish design with practicality, prioritise easy town driving, want personalisation options, or are a younger buyer with or without a family.
Consider alternatives if: You require diesel engines (post-2021 models), want hybrid technology, or are sensitive to interior build quality issues.
Competitive Position: The Seat Arona is a strong contender in the small SUV market, offering attractive styling, practical space, and composed driving dynamics. Whilst the Ford Puma and Skoda Kamiq edge ahead with higher expert and user ratings, the Arona delivers excellent value with its spacious boot, light controls, and comfortable ride. It represents a sensible choice for families and younger buyers seeking style without compromising on practicality and affordability in a competitive segment.
